Premium Member Hal Smith Posted December 15, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted December 15, 2006 I've found that the quickest way to take down fake eBay camera, lens, etc. auctions is to send a message via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the item's page. That message goes to the holder of the hijacked account. They can delete items easily since they're the owner of the item as far as eBay knows. Below is the link for reporting it directly to eBay. This usually works but is also tends to be slower. The only reason eBay pulls these auctions down is because the crooks explicitly state in their listings that they'll only take bids OFF eBay. eBay could care less that the auction itself is a fraud. http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_bas...ue=Continue+%3E

Jonathan Bowerbank
There are 5 dup ads on eBay right now for Arri SR's, the seller is located in France, I'm guessing it's fake.
