Premium Member Nathan Milford Posted August 12, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted August 12, 2004 I just found two 100' spools of 7247 in the dark room here and was wondering if they might be useful for some interesting photography or if they can even be developed. Emulsion #724731420 Probably not stored correctly and maybe too old for use... but is it worth throwin in the old camera for fun? - nathan
Premium Member John Pytlak RIP Posted August 12, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted August 12, 2004 Those are very old rolls, as 7247 was discontinued about a decade ago. If they were kept refrigerated, an EI 100 film may still have low fog levels, and be fun to use as an experiment. Stored at room temperature, you may find unacceptable changes in sensitometry and grain level. Process is ECN-2.
Premium Member Nathan Milford Posted August 12, 2004 Author Premium Member Share Posted August 12, 2004 I'll shoot it and try. It was at room temp, though. We'll see what happens. At the very least it should give the lab guys a good laugh! - nathan
Premium Member Adam Frisch FSF Posted August 12, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted August 12, 2004 It'd be interesting to see. Please post here if you ever get around to doing it.
