Justan Zimmerman
Has anyone else seen this? It?s French film shot by Eduardo Serra with quite a bit of handheld work. Unlike The Bourne Supremacy, which I guess I found much less grating than most people, the camera didn?t scream HANDHELD. For the most part it was very restrained and subtle. There were a few key handheld moments with very careful and deliberate framing (I had almost come to believe that this had become a lost art). It was all very refreshing after seeing so many recent films with ultra-shaky handheld shots and superfluous zooms. I was also quite impressed with the lighting as well. A good deal of the film takes place in one room, the office of a tax attorney, and the lighting for each scene finely reflected the mood while remaining very natural looking. I didn?t catch it in the credits but I was told director Patrice Leconte was the camera op. Does anyone know if this is true?
Marty Hamrick
There was a made for TV film by that title shot in Jacksonville,Fl back in the 80's.It starred Stacy Keach,Terri Garr and Kathie Lee Crosby.I remeber very little about the film that's how unimpressive it was.
