Film Commision Offices

OK,

So its sweeps and we all have to put together our stories for the book, and I had an idea to do a story on the now-closed film commision office we had in town. I wanted to get ahold of a producer who has had experience prepping a film from outside of the state with the help of an office, sort of to get their perspective on how a film office makes things easier on the producer. The problem is I can't seem to get ahold of any producers for a quick 10 minute phone interview.

I tried the obvious with sean penns new film 'Into the Wild' which was filmed in part in Alaska. The promotional department for Paramount Vantage told me all the producers were busy with a tight post-production schedule to fit in an interview.

So now I am turning to you guys, maybe you know a producer who has worked with other states offices before (if I could find someone who can compare experiences with and without an office that would be perfect)

If anyone can help, please let me know.
