Angeliki Makraki
I saw the avant-premiere of Gus Van Sant's Mala Noche here in Athens last Friday. It was playing Microcosmos on Singrou. Nice little black box theatre. I was the only one there except for the friends I dragged along. I've been wanting to see it for quite some time now, since many consider it to be his best film. Repetitious but interesting cinematography by Bill Campbell (never heard of him) Light coming out of darkness.
Angeliki Makraki
There were even priests speaking in Greek ! In the movie, not the theatre.
Patrick Neary
cinematography by Bill Campbell (never heard of him)Light coming out of darkness. it's John Campbell, not Bill. He also co-DP'd "Private Idaho" and "Cowgirls" for Van Sant.
