Jayson Watabe
Anyone had any experience with Alphacine for super 16 processing and telecine? Am considering using them for upcoming feature. THanks in advance.
Patrick Neary
Hi- I've used them for 16 and 35 and they're a great lab!
Premium Member Will Montgomery Posted May 21, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted May 21, 2007 Just be specific with your instructions; like how you want the film preped and returned to you. I've had fine experiences with them. I've heard several people in Seattle say they preferred Forde Labs but now they are the same company.
Patrick McGowan
I think Alphacine is one of most underrated labs in the country. Honestly, I have seen regular 16 transfers that look sharper and cleaner than some of the super-16 I have sent to DuArt. DuArt has also pissed me off quite a bit with their lackluster customer service. I highly recommend Alphacine.
