danny bartle
Hi all, For my next film contest feature, I have the choice of using either a PDX10P (which I own) or hiring a XL1s from the local film club here for a pretty cheap rate. Now before anyone suggests a DVX100 or XL2, they're out of the question as no one rents them where I live.. My feature is being shot entirely in the 16:9 format which will be projected for a small audience via a data projector (if it wins that is!) I know the XL1s has a larger CCD size & probably better optics than the PDX10P but it has native 16:9 & since I already own the PDX10P, is it worth hiring the XL1s since its a 16:9 feature? Is the 16:9 picture on the PDX10P better than the XL1s? Thanks to all who reply..
Phil Connolly
Hi, go with the PDX10P, the 16:9 feature on the Xl1s is rubbish.
