i want to shoot a blue matt shot with HD. How should i light for this. I have no idea about lighting for blue matt. Can u people please help me!!

Smooth and even lighting no matter whether for HD, SD, green or blue screen. Type of lighting: Fluorescent 4 foot tubes for instance are pretty good and don't heat up the studio as long as you have good flicker free ballasts driving them. Smooth and even will make a difference later in the quality of your key. Also, separation of subject from screen. Finally, sometimes an amber gelled back lighting of the subject can help to counteract the blue spill problem if the subject is too close (or magenta gel for green screen). The amber gel may not be so important today though with the spill reduction algorithms in most keying software. White balance to foreground lighting on the subject. Hope this helps.
