Robert Hughes
All in all a smart, enjoyable movie. Cinematography lighting were unintrusive but quite competent, casting and story were excellent. Several times I had the "I remember that!" experience. But the kids at my cineplex apparently don't know how to focus a projector; too many closeups were just a little too soft. Patrick McGowan
I still laugh when I think of Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd's characters taking mushrooms and going to see Cirque du Soleil. I really identified with this film in a weird way, I've never had children, that I know of, but I think it's that feeling of life slapping you in the face and having to face reality and take responsibility that struck a chord with me. The supporting cast was great, plenty of people from Freaks and Geeks and Harold Ramis as the father was fantastic.

A good picture about real people can still hit a home run!
