Recommended Posts

Hello Fellow Film-Maker's ,

This is my first post in this Forum ... So pls bear with my mistakes ..

I'm subhash from India ... I've just completed a Diploma in Film-making ... Now that i finished this course i'm planning to do another course which would take things furthur i.e Advanced Training in Cinematography ...

I've worked with SR 1 , SR 2 , Aaton (16mm) , ARRI 435 , ARRI 3c , ARRI 2c (35mm) , ARRI BL 3 ... and also with SONY DSR , SONY DV , PANASONIC P2 ... I'm also trained in Avid Xpress Pro ...

I'm basically lookin at a course which would train me intensly in the Practical Cinematography (Lensing , Use of Spaces , Composition etc ) & lighting dept ... Since i'm already from a film school , I'm looking at another film school which can teach me more than what i've learned in the former ... I dont want to b stuck up wit another course which start's off from the basics of Cinematography ... And also I'm lookin at a Film School which would train me completely on Film ...

I'm ready to travel to any part of the world to do a specialisation course, provided its the best ... I dont want to end up cribbing after joining the course and that's why i'm here ... I know all my friends here would give me the best option's from your experiences ... I m looking forward to ur responses ... any kind of advice regarding my next move is also most welcome ...

Thank you for patiently reading this mail ... Now that you've read this mail, its compulsory that u reply ;)

What is it, the AFI program I believe is something that many people seem to hold in high regards. Being a school that more focused technically on building the talents of serious filmmakers.

thanks a ton ...

cheers
