XL1S Wide Angle Adapter?

Hi there all,

I understand that the XL1s does not have the same 16:9 ability as the XL2... I was pipped to the post unfortunately on bidding for an XL2 on ebay last night and am now in desperate need for a camera as i'm due to start filming this weekend. (I've been mulling over buying an upgrade for some time so don't worry if you think i'm rushing it!!) However i would like to know if there are wide angle lens'/adapters available for fitting onto the XL1s - if so, how drastically does the image quality differ?

Any ideas where to pick one up for?

If anyone has an XL1s kit they're interested in selling before the weekend? At this stage i'm looking at ebay as the deepest darkest bit of rural Hampshire doesn't have too many good DV shops :rolleyes:
