Paul Vanderhoof
Can an Angenieux orientable veiwfinder for an Eclair be mounted / or refited to mount on a CP-16/R? I know that they often use the Angenieux on both but I am guessing they use different mounts. Thanks, Paul in Los Angeles.
Premium Member Bruce Taylor Posted September 5, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted September 5, 2007 Can an Angenieux orientable veiwfinder for an Eclair be mounted / or refited to mount on a CP-16/R? . Anyone? This is a question I have as well- the CP version is scarce and pricey. I wonder if Bernie O'Doherty the Eclair guru would know... Kenny N Suleimanagich
"ds21z", Please change your display name to your First and Last name as per what you agreed to doing upon joinign the forum, such can be done in the "My Controls" secotion of your profile. I've heard of people doing this, apparently theres some modding that needs be done but it's a pretty rudimentary process.

Hello Paul, The Angenieux orientable viewfinder should go right onto your CP-16R. There is probably a burr on one of the surfaces, or something minor like that.
