Scott Sanss
Hey I wanted to know if there is a diffrent procedure for establishing Lens Shading with Digiprimes? Is it the same as all other ENG (B4) lenses>? How often should shading be reset? Thanks in advance Edited September 22, 2007 by Scott Sanss
Premium Member Chris Keth Posted September 23, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted September 23, 2007 I'm not sure I get your question. Are you talking about flagging the lens to prevent flares and loss of contrast? If that's what you're talking about, you do it whenever you need to do it, basically. It doesn't matter what lenses you're using.
Premium Member Chad Stockfleth Posted September 23, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted September 23, 2007 No, he's talking about the camera's internal lens shading function that let's you account for aberrations in the lens so that a set is consistent. The process should be the same with digiprimes as with an eng lens, as far as I know.
Mitch Gross
Setting the white shading for any lens is the same process no matter the optics.
