Jonathan Hirsh
Hello all, I would love some feedback on this music video I have produced, co-directed, Lighting & set designed, and did projection content for. Basically it was a two-man production team plus labor. I know it?s not the most exciting video ever but I am more interested in comments on the lighting. This was my first time lighting for video. I would like to know what you experts think of it. It was shot on Digi Beta; we had a day of prep and a day of shooting. It was supper low budget but fun to work on. The key to the lighting was that it was shot using only moving lights and one par bar with scrollers for decoration. . We had 35 movers for the shoot. I would just like to know if you feel this technique worked for the video. Thank you JH
Ram Shani
35????? it look like only 3-4 that's probably have to do with the shoots and the size of them i think that is shame 2 thing its the same shoots for 95% of the clip and it get a little boring:( if you had 35 moving lights i expected same developed in the lighting

Unfortunately the client wants one thing and you have to give them what they pay for. On the beta masters you do see allot more depth and can see the lights doing allot more. I think in compression for you tube it lost allot. It was shot in a long studio and we had lights doing things in the foreground and the background but it looks like its one mush around him now that I screen the you tube version.
