Brian Posslenzny
Check out our latest project: "Conviction." Shot in 12 hours at an abandoned warehouse in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Shot on the JVC HD100 with the Brevis 35mm. Any feedback/critiques are very welcome. http://www.cineverapictures.com/clips/conviction.html

Jonathan Bowerbank
Hey Brian, good stuff. The performances are forgiveable, of course, but I thought it was lit, blocked and shot very nicely. It's obvious you had fun in doing some noir style lighting. And while some of the shots are stunning visually, perhaps a bit more natural motivation could have taken it to the next level. The shower scene, for example. I didn't really see where that light would have been coming from. And the hitman's kicker, for when he's tied to the chair seemed a little odd. Perhaps you could have either made it a bit more subtle, or have a bit of light coming through the blacked out windows just so we know where that light might have been coming from. Otherwise, well done! It's a good demo reel piece for sure!
