This is my fist time working whit HDV and i have some questions. I´m using the JVC H110 and H250, with 24p HDV format. This is a music show in studio.

1 question- What is the real difference of record in a Mini-DV ou HDV tape?

2 question- Will be used low artificial light in studio, what is the appropriate calibrating numbers for this?

3 question- With the H250, what i have to worry and think when shooting in 60p?

Is just this for now... thanks everyone

Use the highest quality tapes you can, preferably the JVC brand.

Calibration? If using tiungsten lights use the 3200k filter.

If one can only record in 30p then shoot both in 30p.
