Mixing lenses for an H-16

I know there are some Bolex folks on here who know more than I.

 

I have an H-16 Deluxe (non-reflex). Right now, I have the 25mm and the 75mm (the 16mm is still out there for me to pick up or what ever other lens that might suit my fancy).

 

But, I have a question -- I had a Bell and Howell 240. It was outfitted with an Angenieux 17-68mm zoom with a reflex viewer. I have taken the lens off that camera and with all the lens removed from the Bolex, I am able to attach this zoom.

 

Should I be fine using it? What must I be aware of with lenses not specifically built for this Bolex?

It will fine beacause only refex Bolexes require the use of RX lenses. You can use any normal c-mount lens.
