Premium Member Tim O'Connor Posted December 13, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted December 13, 2007 I operated one Mini-DV camera on a three camera shoot that is planned to be edited in Final Cut Pro with the multi-clip feature. So far, these have all worked when we've done them before with three Mini-DV cameras but this time one of the cameras recorded to a cheapo Aiptek to its memory card so that capture time could be reduced as that footage should be drop and drag. However the editor tells me that the memory card footage isn't working on the timeline. I think that it's AVC? Does anybody know what to do? This was a test so the third camera also recorded to Mini-DV as a back-up but if this can be figured out we're considering getting some of these Aipteks for each camera for certain event coverage. The quality is just okay but for our purposes that may be suitable and cutting down hours of capture time would definitely make it worth it. Thanks.
