Dalton Swift
I am shooting a short next week. The location is an apartment. shooting b&w 16mm. I am looking to do most of my lighting with Practicals... any tips? The location also has two giant windows that should bring in alot of natural light. Thanks, Dalton
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted February 6, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted February 6, 2008 Wouldn't the practicals be off if there was a room with giant windows providing a lot of natural daylight? If you're talking about heavy overcast, dusk, and night scenes, the main thing is to carry a range of wattages -- I like to use fairly strong bulbs in practicals, like 213's, and get some real exposure from them.
