Guest Aaron Martin (TX)
Hi, Does anyone know of where I can find out the filter thread sizes for specific Super 8 cameras? I checked the Super 8 wiki but this information wasn't included. Thanks for your help, Aaron
Jim Carlile
What cameras do you have in mind? Most medium 3:1 zooms are 49mm. The larger zooms are 62 and 67 mm, a few might be 72 but that's rare, something like the Beaulieu 1008 or other B' models. Occasionally a smaller camera might be 43mm-- like the Canon 310. Jim, Thanks for your response. I was thinking specifically about early to mid-1970's Nizo cameras, specifically the 560 and 561. I believe those cameras have an 8:1 zoom. Are you aware of an equation that relates zoom ratio to filter size? Thanks, Aaron Edited February 11, 2008 by Aaron Martin (TX)
