Premium Member Keith Walters Posted April 9, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted April 9, 2008 The HD Fury is a self-contained HDMI to analog VGA converter, mostly designed to allow older computer monitors to be run from video game HDMI outputs. These are two Australian companies that sell it: Consoleshop and Quantronics, their websites will tell you more. (Note: By "VGA" they mean "VGA Connector" not "640 x 480"). Considering that really good large-screen CRT computer monitors can be had for next to nothing now, (including Sony Trinitron models) it has been suggested that this device might be a way to get high quality 720p monitoring from the RED on the cheap. I would certainly trust a CRT monitor before I would trust a cheap LCD one! Has anybody tried this? By the way, don't rush out to buy one just yet; every retailer seems to be out of stock at the moment!
