Mitch Gross Posted October 23, 2004 Share Posted October 23, 2004 If you want a great crash course into the use and functionality of the Varicam then they are well worth it, especially if you come from a film or DV background and need a primer into the pro video field. Having had enough experience with pro video otherwise, I was fine with spending the day at a rental house going through the Varicam mostly on my own with the occassional help of a technician. Bob Goodman will soon have a Goodman's Guide for the Varicam similar to the excellent Guide he wrote for the SDX900.
