Damien Dubois
Hello, I own 2 Nizo camera (s800 & 801). I want to remove the handles and put a 9V battery pack aside from the camera. I designed an alloy plate to screw the camera to a tripod and a place to fix the battery pack. This plate will be milled at "schaeffer apparatebau", it costs nearly 15?. if someone want the FPD file I can give it in PM (the only thing to do is to choose your anodizing color ;) ). It looks like this: The only problem is that I want to remove the handle as it is useless now, but I don't know how to do this. If someone as ever done this job, tell me how to do that... Really thank you in advance for your advice. Best regards Damian
Mitch Perkins
There is a tiny set screw at the back of the camera which holds the rod/hinge in place. Loosen the set screw and, using the same tiny jeweller's screwdriver, push the rod out. The handle will fall to the ground and smash into pieces. Just kidding...
