Charles Haine
Having trouble tracking down info on this camera: http://www.broadwayphoto.com/viewproduct.aspx?id=3716257 The price seems to go to be true, even without a lens. Anybody know what the HPX555 is? It's not on the panny website. thanks, Ch:H
Charles Haine
Further research indicates that it's the Japanese HPX500. Still, that's a great price. Wonder how different it is since it's the japaense (domestic) version. Ch:H

Saul Rodgar
And without a lens, which is why the price. Answers found. Ch:H ENG cameras usually never sell with a lens, like all higher-end film cameras. A good lens is not cheap either. A decent Canon HD or equivalent broadcast zoom lens is never under $10,000. This is body-only price, and is too cheap. Previous experiences with Broadway Photo make me think this is too good to be true. I don't trust them.
