Guest Stephen Murphy
Im looking for a high resolution image of an ansel adams greyscale - a google search has yielded a few images but they're all too small for my purposes. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Something like this only higher quality woul be great. Happy to pay for it. I saw Stephen Goldblatt use one in his preview system - he would cut and paste it onto the corner of every still image sent to the lab as a reference. A really simple and brilliant idea to help with the problems of poorly calibrated monitors.
Patrick Neary
Hi- You can make your own in Freehand/photoshop/illustrator- the bottom row of numbers correspond to different shades of gray you can create in any of those programs (just make a row of boxes and fill with those shades of gray, from black -0- to white -255-) and make any size you like. Premium Member Tim Terner Posted July 17, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted July 17, 2008 Hi Stephen, don't know whether this one would be any good to you. You'd have to cut the top off in PhotoShop http://www.normankoren.com/Stepchart_large_bw2.jpg
