AVID certified workstations on eBay

There are a bunch of ex-lease HP XW8200 workstations on eBay right now. That's an AVID certified model with all sorts of configuration notes on AVID support pages. They're going for around $550 which is less than the Quadro FX3400 video cards in them cost new. If you're looking to build an AVID editor I'd grab one of these beasts before they're gone. You do know that AVID is dropping the Xpress DV line and if you've got any version you can upgrade to Media Composer for $395 download to $495 with plugins and DVD? That plus one of these workstations would give you a killer AVID Media Composer for around $1K.
