The wedge offers the user the ability to attach the camera to a variety of cinema tools (utilizing the standard 1/4-20 mounting screw), such as a rod support, steadicam or other handheld apparatus, and tripod. The wedge attaches to the bottom of the camera handle via its own 1/4-20 screw and Allen wrench, which are provided. The screw and wrench can be purchased from your local hardware store in the event they are misplaced. The wedge is made of aluminum and has been powder coated with a matte black finish.
