Jerome White
Hey everyone, I am interested in doing somewhat of a vh1 pop up video. I was unsure on how would I go about adding the pop up balloons. Would I just have to make the balloons in photoshop, and import the jpegs into the timeline in FCP? Or is there an easier way to do this straight from FCP? Thanks in advance.
David Desio
I'd create the ballons in PS and animate them in After Effects, then export the comps from AE and import into FCP. Dave

You might be able to get the balloon vector to work, but there's no way you could accomplish the same graphic style without photoshop. In terms of keeping it mostly in FCP, you can generate the balloons in photoshop and use the motion and time remap tools (Motion tab in the viewer) to animate them. That might save time as opposed to AE.
