I am extremely eager to become a second AC and eventually a 1st and then DP. I want to become very familiar with both panavision and arri equipment so that I can attempt admission into the local 600 union to be an AC. I know a 1st who about 9 years ago took classes in vancouver that covered panavisiion gear It was at claremont in van when it first started up there. They were free courses designed to educate people on the equipment. I am looking for a course or courses that will teach me about the equipment. Preferabbly inexpensive or free courses. If anyone has any advice contact info etc I could really use it. I don't know where to begin looking and would be willing to travel to take advantage of any courses available.
