Tom Tomlinson
You will need a Keykode reader (like Aaton Keylink or Evertz) and run the Keykode signal to Rack 2 of the spirit. Tom/NYC PS-I thought Discreet strips the Metadata. Maybe just older versions? Not Sure.

Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted November 26, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted November 26, 2004 Hi, Whoever has the Spirit will have a KK reader. DPX supports all kinds of metadata, but most often you'll get timecode and/or keykode. It's not hard to read, being stored as BCD bytes towards the top of the file. I've been staring at this stuff in a hex editor for Filmlight recently. Phil
