My First Super 8 Short

Hello All,

 

I just uploaded my first super 8 short, I shot it last year with Tri-x and Plus-x reversal and my Canon 814 electronic auto zoom, using the cameras built-in auto exposure.

 

I would love to know what people think, even if you hate it.

 

It's a fiction piece about a fan of Eric Cantona, and it's less than 2 minutes, so it doesn't outstay it's welcome.

saw this yesterday before your post, really enjoyed it. well shot, especially for a first time super8er, and nice editing.

take it you used the tri-x for the indoor stuff and plus-x for the outdoor??

Tom, thanks alot. I did use the stocks exactly as you mentioned above, although I did shoot a little bit of tri-x outside, it looked quite ugly though, a bit flat, and obviously wouldn't cut together with the plus-x; a great lesson learnt though!

Not unwelcome at all, quite the opposite in fact, a very enjoyable film, it had a real message to it I felt, with the actor being so small.

 

I would also suggest you put this in the Please Critique My Work section of the forum, therefore a wider scope of people are likely to view this.
