Jim Nelson
hi, I'm having some difficulty with the vanishing point. I know that it's the point where the lines in an image intersect. But is it also where we focus our attention? Also can someone please give me a clear definition of 'perspective'? Thanks
Scott Fritzshall
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspective_(graphical) The viewer's attention is, or can be, drawn by a number of things. In certain compositions (think looking down a street, for instance), the vanishing point may be the focus of attention. Attention is also drawn by use of focus, brightness, colors, motion, etc.
