Best HD format for a Chase scene?

Hello,

 

We're making a short film which has an important car chase scene.

We're going to use a canon-hf s100 HD camcorder.

We'll be shooting the beginning portions before the chase in 24p Cine mode.

I'm as new to HD as i am to this community, therefore a little confused about what format to shoot the chase in.

 

1)Some say that 30p is best for action.

 

2)Will it be drastically different if we shoot one portion in 24p and then the following in 30p?

 

3)Is 24p something that you would recommend?
