Rik Andino
It all depends on how much money you've got. Best Bang for your buck is the Canon 8-64 S16 lens Sharp as poop glass, covers S16mm, and provides clear images-->Xtal clear But it cost 8grand or up. If you got that get it, you'll not regret it (rhymes :) ) Lower down the scale is the converted Ziess 10-100 It's a Ziess 11.5-115 or 12-120 depends on the S16 conversion It'll cost you between 1 - 2 grand It's good enough and you'll get great images if the lens is in good condition. Even lower down the scale is the Ang. 15-150 It's relatively affordable around 700 bucks and covers S16mm This place sells em for 600 smackaroos http://www.cameraco-op.com You'll also have to take into account what kinda mount you have The Canon is usually in a PL mount The Ziess and Angenieux are usually in B-mounts if you have to buy an adapter to use the lens it'll up the price of the lens more. Anyways I hope that's helpful check this site out for more info: http://www.cinematechnic.com/resources/opt...r_super-16.html BTW: Do you have and Arri Super 16 camera or an Arri-S 16mm MOS camera If it's the Arri-S I recommend a regular Ziess 10-100 or Ang. 10-150 or (cheap) Ang. 12-120 KARMA bums
