Jaime Toruno
I took a class at the workshops in Rockport, Maine, it is a great place to get your hands on and find out if it is what you want to do with your life... just because is 10 to 13 hours days depending on the class you take, they have one week workshops and longer, I love the place it was a great experience and if I was to take more classes thats where I would go for sure. http://www.theworkshops.com/filmworkshops/index.asp you can go to NYU if you have the money.. Good luck!
Brian Dzyak
Can anyone suggest a good short-term class in Field Production, preferably in Canada but US will work, as well? Thanks, Kim Hi, Kim. I don't know what your background currently is or what kind of Field Production you're interested in. But recommend the book, "What I Really Want to Do: On Set in Hollywood." It's written as a "day in the life" story of all departments on a feature film set, sort of like an internship in a book. It's more of a "what am I getting myself into" that puts the "how to" instruction into context. See the link below and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly. Good luck!
