David Shawl
It might be a long shot, but does anyone know if this exists? I am trying to use this for a docking bracket for a mini-Steadicam device. Maximum weight on the baby pin would be approx 10 pounds. Hopefully this stand would open up to at least a 6 foot height. I am limited to the size of my Pelican 1620 case. If it doesn't exist, I plan to carry a Arri AS-2 light stand separately or strapped onto the case, which has worked great for this purpose. Thanks
Igor Trajkovski
Maybe the stands Walter Graff mentiones in his "What is in my light kit" article will do. Quote: "Manfrotto, sold in the United States by Bogen Imaging, makes a stand that collapses down to 26 inches long by 2.5 inches wide while still extending to 8 feet. It's as durable and sturdy as a larger stand. I have six Manfrotto stands in my kit and three larger stands from Matthews Studio Equipment for the heavier stuff." Walter is member in this forum. He might give you more details. Regards Igor
Premium Member Chris Keth Posted June 19, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) These look pretty flimsy, but the specs say they fold to 19". I don't want to look through all these right now, but here is B&H's section for compact light stands. Edited June 19, 2009 by Chris Keth
