Stephen Tringali
I'm preparing to shoot a short music doc, and many of the venues I will be shooting in are somewhat dim and will not allow me to bring in additional lights. I'm wondering what super 8 and 16mm stocks respond best to push processing (how many stops is it possible to push them?, are there any unique resulting effects on particular stocks?, etc.) or if there are any other solutions to the problem aside from abandoning film and shooting digitally. Thanks.
