Guest Kevin Thomas
Hi Sterwart, you don't say what model of minolta meter you are using - I have have the Flashmeter V you need to change the dip switches in the battery compartment to cine mode. Dip 1 to Cine and Dip 2 to F No. This will change the display to cine mode allowing you to select the frame rate and film iso. This is for 180 degree shutter for 160 degrees subtract a third of a stop and for 220 degrees add a third of a stop. If you are shooting tungsten film outside and you use the cameras internal filter or an external 85B filter you need to open up the lens an extra two thirds of a stop to allow for the filter. You need to use a filter when shooting 64T in daylight to stop your film from having a colour cast unless you are going to colour correct later after telecine. If you have the IIIF I seem to remember that if you keep going down the shutter speeds it eventually offers cine settings - it's been a few years. Hope this helps
