Dean Werner
I'm a film student and I am going to do some camera tests with some color filters I just got. Does anyone have any suggestions to make the best use of my class time while I do this. I don't want the image to be completely washed out in green or yellow for example. Should I stop up or down to reduce the color's intensity? I also have some ND filters, CPL, and FDL filters if it would help to use them together. I will be shooting an interior scene and don't want to use gels on the lights for any additonal color. The camera is a Cannon XL-1. I want to learn to do more color on set and stop color correcting in post so much. Thanks, Dean
