RAJENDRA BISWAS Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 currently ionly have the sunshade not the bellows..is it alirght to shoot the lens open,will it compromise picture qualty....i havea bellow in the old sound recording set which in those days used to be put to record with sound.. As long as the sunshade is screening the sun or other bright light off the lens you'll do okay. The real use of the more elaborate matte boxes is to hold filters, hard mattes, etc. There are some good matte boxes and other accessories being manufactured in India, ask a dealer about them.
