Canon Canosound 312XL-S Film?

Hi there,

I have just found my "father's" cam the Canon Canosound 312XL-S, and i'm already fall in love with the super 8 magic.

I am a wedding videographer and i would like to use some super 8mm footage for the couples. From my little research in the net i found out that the only film i can use is the Kodak TRI-X Black & White Reversal.

Does anybody knows if there is a color reversal i can use and where i can find it ?

Hi, you can use ( until dec 2010 ) wittner 40t which is kodachrome 40 repackaged and split from double super 8 kodachrome 40, you can also use wittner 50d http://www.wittner-kinotechnik.de/katalog/...mm/s8_filmm.php

 

or try this place for 50d ( again reperfed fuji 50 velvia ) http://www.spectrafilmandvideo.com/Film.html seem to be out of stock at present....

 

Note fuji/wittner 50d in some cameras ( including mine ) tends to give jumpy/unstable images..

I have kodachrome SOUND film kma594 tested and guarranteed which will work pefectly in your sound camera.i have shot weddings since 1973 .processing will run about $12 per roll at dwaynes

in kansas.film is $35 per roll (5 or more rolls)

why not have color and sound?

hi you can use man other films such as ektachrome 64t and special push notched films at this site www.nanolab.com.au

I have sound film for sale kodachrome 40 for your sound camera 50ft and 200 ft carts. Results can be seen on line. frozen since manufacture '96-98 $25 per 50ft Processing by dwaynes in kansas city USA MUST BE DONE BEFORE DEC 31 $36 PER 200FT ROLL OR $12 PER 50FT ROLL
