Premium Member Chris Keth Posted November 27, 2009 Premium Member Share Posted November 27, 2009 Alas, it may do more harm than good if they don't fix the play and other problems. If this was the only gear head you'd ever tried, you'd think they weren't worth the bother to learn the hand coordination. -- J.S. True, and this is the only gearhead I've seen in a showroom in a while. I'm lucky that I had a gearhead at school to learn on. Nobody at school used it other than me. Many were, unfortunately, busy doing faddish handheld (I was in school 2003-2007).
David Rakoczy
Thanks for the thorough report John. That was my fear and being in Florida I'd have to fly to LA to spin the Wheels a couple times. I like the fact that your report included a heavier camera. I am thankful the Worrall showed up! Dominic Gruenberg
Hey David, hey Fran, thank you guys very much for your answers. And thank you John for the insight. I won't be able for some time to buy a geared head, but I got very interested (actually I checked almost every entry on Google regarding "geared heads") and just asked out of curiosity. :)
