Sander Ferdinand
Hey, Alltough I have been lurking the forums alot since i first came here, I still consider myself a newbie. I am planning to film my way into film academy by shooting a short on my s16 Aaton, with a nice set of Zeiss superspeeds MK I's ( 9.5-12-16-25-35-50-85 ). I still have some basic questions concerning the lenses and conditions i will be shooting in. I am using Fuji 250D for outdoors. I'm guessing it will be overcast the day i shoot, since our winters are really grey. Will i have enough light available without having to shoot wide open ? Will you suggest 250D at all for 'grey' days ? How would you say the avarage MK 1 performs wide open ? My only experience with shooting wide open was with a Canon 8-64 wich ( ofcourse ) diden't gave me the best results ( read: terrible ). Also, would you suggest rating the stock at 200asa ? Are there any other in's and out's i need to know concerning the lenses ? I have seen most information pages about the set but I want to be prepared as possible since i'm trowing all my money into this project :D .
