Guest Jon Armstrong Posted January 18, 2005 Share Posted January 18, 2005 I bought a Canon XL2 and before I go any further the Camera is exceptional. We used it recently mixed in amongst Digi Beta and DVCAN 2/3 cameras and you could not tell on air which one was which. I went to attach the dual battery holder and the shoulder rest came off in my hand. The Camera that I bought was an ex demo model and it appears that somebody had dropped it on the shoulder rest. The rest had snapped clean off. The camera now has to have the entire chassis replaced!!! Having the dual battery bracket attached would probably prewvent the damage so!
