Landon D. Parks
Did they use any kind of grain reduction in this film at all for the DVD? I thought the origional theatrical was grainy, but the DVD seems even more grainy. I understand that they wanted a little grain in the image, but some is just to much. Is this Video grain or Film grain I'm seeing? It looks like film grain to me, But I don't have a trained eye on the matter.
Tenolian Bell
Some of it is grain, but a great deal of it is video noise and artifacts.
andrewbuchanan
I thought the grain worked well. There were a couple of shots on the DVD that looked like the exposure was a little bit off and there was some noise, but overall I was very impressed considering it was an S16 movie. I wished I had seen it in on screen...
