Daniel Tan
Hi, I have a bunch of processed negatives and will not be going into a telecine suit for at least a few weeks. How shall I store these negatives while waiting? Thanks. Daniel

How shall I store these negatives while waiting? Thanks. Daniel <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A few weeks or a few months is considered short term storage. Room temperature (20-25 Celsius) and 50 to 60 percent relative humidity is fine. Keep film wound on a larger core to avoid "core set". For long term storage, follow the specifications in SMPTE Recommended Practice RP131 or ANSI/NAPM IT9.11 --- cold and dry and vented, or sealed in the can with Molecular Sieves.
