This kit was used to record everything from sit-down interviews to features.

 

IDX 7S batteries hold a good charge and will last up to three hours depending on lens use and mounted accessories.

The ProHD HDV Format looks beautiful, especially when projected in theaters.

Ergonomically it is the best camera out there with an ENG style lens for the price. That lens allows for some creative freedom due to the macro abilities and the pure manual control (it does also have auto features).

Shoulder mount allows for smoother shooting and longer single shot endurance.

 

I have used these cameras as a studio rig with focus and zoom controls. Been used on a Steadicam. Used on a film sets along side VariCam.
