Dark Children's Adventure Movie Trailer

Hello Everyone,

 

Hope all is well. I wanted to get some comments on a trailer I am making for a children's adventure script I wrote.

The main purpose of the trailer is to interest a Producer/Investor. Do you think it generates enough interest?

 

It is more of a detailed animatic at this stage. The animation of characters and the final lighting ( &rendering) is still to be done. I was looking to get some feedback before I do them as it eats up a lot of time.

 

It is a bit dark. The final look would be a nod in the direction of Coraline and Burton's Alice. The music of-course is NOT final.

Hi Tarun,

 

There is a lot of things that I think looks great and has potential. But for me looks are not all.

 

I´m wandering: "What´s the story". I see elements of fear, discovery and solutions to problems, but I do not see the elements that causes this events. And that leaves me a bit uninterested. You might have a greater story on paper, but I don´t feel or see it in the clip.

 

Keep working and you will get there.

Thanks Fredrik! This is more of a teaser to get the producer interested enough to read the script. But You are right, adding a scene of the trouble maker would add a lot and I'll do just that!
