Guest Steadicam Forum
Comes with a safety locking bar on a chain so that once the rig is docked the operator can disengage the arm and walk away from the kit with confidence. This bracket has held every sort of format right up to a fully loaded Panastar. Loosenng the dial on the stand allows the bracket to be spun round so that the sled can be placed on the balancing spud, as well as a hook that allows the arm to be hung-up when not in use. The three holes in the bracket take the three main Steadicam allen keys, (socket-block, arm, post). GPI charge $300.00 plus shipping for a new one of these when I last looked. Included is the docking-ring adaptor that attaches around any 1.5 inch post (allen adjustment).£200.00 plus postage.

View or reply to the original post at SteadicamForum.com
