Guest Steadicam Forum
I have a used Mitchell gear head I’m looking to sell. I bought it five years ago to teach myself how to use the wheels. It worked well for its intended purpose and has been sitting unused in my garage ever since. It is in excellent cosmetic shape despite its age, and appears to be in great mechanical shape although I’ve never put a camera on it – just a laser pointer. I don’t know much about this head or its history. It has three gears (plus neutral) for pan and tilt, and has a built in tilt plate. It also has its own custom A&J hard shipping case. I will include a used high-hat (minus the board) to throw it on if you need it to practice, although the high-hat doesn’t fit in the shipping case. I would prefer an LA buyer as the case is quite large and heavy, and shipping would certainly be expensive. I bought the head in 2005 for $4500 and would like to come close to that price. Please contact me through the forum or via email to discuss. Thank you.
